YMCA Calgary is seeking a part-time Head Basketball Coach at the Shane Homes YMCA at Rocky Ridge. The role starts in September 2026 with compensation in the range of $20.35 to $22.61 per hour.
You will lead volunteer coaches, support program delivery, and help ensure a positive participant and family experience. Ideal candidates bring NCCP basketball credentials, 3–5 years coaching children and youth, strong customer service, and clear communications.

Working closely with the volunteer team, the Head Basketball Coach will take a leadership role by providing communication and mentoring opportunities for all volunteer coaches, as well as stepping into ratio as needed for all sport programs. This position will work weekday evenings and weekends, to ensure that programs, participants and volunteers are supported.
