Job summary

GoodLife Fitness in Calgary is seeking a Customer Service Representative (Motivator) to greet members, check them in, and assist with club services. You will handle phone inquiries, help Members on the floor, and promote memberships. A positive, energetic attitude and knowledge of our systems are essential.

CPR-A & AED are required within 3 months, and Smart Tan certification within 3 months. Strong communication, computer skills, and a sales mindset are valued. Excellent teamwork a must.

Qualifications

• CPR-A & AED certification required within 3 months of employment.
• Smart Tan certification required within 3 months of employment.
• Interpersonal savvy and ability to build rapport with a diverse member base.
• Customer-focused attitude with excellent communication skills.
• Team player who contributes to a positive work environment.
• Approachable and friendly demeanor with strong listening skills.
• Knowledge of the fitness industry preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with computers; able to use club systems.
• Previous customer service and sales experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests with a warm welcome and check them in for workouts.
• Answer incoming calls and direct inquiries to appropriate team members.
• Assist members on the floor with information about Club services and amenities.
• Promote memberships and services when opportunities arise.
• Maintain cleanliness and a positive club environment.
• Participate in monthly meetings and training sessions.
