Job summary

ValueMomentum, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst with 10+ years in the field and 8+ years of Property & Casualty domain experience. You will collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to translate needs into functional requirements for development and testing teams, writing user stories and Gherkin acceptance criteria.

Familiarity with Guidewire and microservices will be advantageous. The role emphasizes independent work, strong communication, and hands-on experience with Agile

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst with 08+ years of P&C Domain experience.
• Hands on experience of working on projects implemented using Agile methodologies.
• Experience of interacting with Business stakeholders and IT stakeholders to understand the requirements and translate them into functional requirements that can be used by Development and Testing Teams
• Experience in writing User Stories, Acceptance criteria in the Gherkin language.

Responsibilities

• Lead business analysis for Property & Casualty projects and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Translate stakeholder requirements into clear functional specifications for Development and Testing teams.
• Create and maintain user stories and acceptance criteria in Gherkin syntax.
• Support testing activities, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Demonstrate strong communication and analytical skills; facilitate problem solving.
• Work independently with minimal guidance from leads/managers.
• Leverage Guidewire PolicyCenter, APIs, and microservices in solution delivery.

Responsibilities

• Minimum 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst with 08+ years of P&C Domain experience.
• Hands on experience of working on projects implemented using Agile methodologies.
• Experience of interacting with Business stakeholders and IT stakeholders to understand the requirements and translate them into functional requirements that can be used by Development and Testing Teams
• Experience in writing User Stories, Acceptance criteria in the Gherkin language .
• Experience of Testing (User Acceptance Testing) is needed.
• Must possess good communication and analytical skills.
• Problem solving and facilitation skills.
• Should have experience of working independently with minimal guidance from leads / managers.
• Hands on experience of the Guidewire Policy and Claims Centers. Has Knowledge on the API's, Application Development and Microservices
• Guidewire Analyst certification is added advantage.
