COFOMO is hiring a seasoned Business Analyst/Functional Analyst to drive transformation programs in the Canadian market. You will collect and document business and functional needs, translate them into user stories and technical specs, and collaborate with IT and QA teams on Guidewire ClaimCenter implementations.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in business analysis, ACE Guidewire certification, and fluency in French and English for daily tasks and cross-country communication.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in administration, computer science, information systems or an appropriate discipline, or a combination of relevant education and experience.
• Eight+ years of relevant experience in business analysis or functional analysis, including five+ years as a systems business analyst with Guidewire ClaimCenter.
• Experience in property & casualty insurance and knowledge of business processes.
• Ability to collect, analyze and document business and functional requirements; write user stories, business rules and impact analyses.
• Experience delivering Agile projects and conducting functional and user acceptance testing.
• ACE Guidewire certification is required.
• Strong collaboration skills with Jira/Confluence/Visio and Microsoft Office.
• Fluency in French and English (oral and written) for daily tasks and cross-Canada communication.

Help our clients succeed and maximize the impact of their transformation initiatives, turning them into powerful drivers of growth and innovation.## Job description**Here's a brief overview of the tasks and responsibilities you'll have :*** Act as an intermediary between business partners and technology teams to collect, analyze and document business and functional needs;* Analyze business processes and recommend solutions to improve operational efficiency and business value;* Translate business needs into user stories, business rules, functional specifications and other deliverables necessary to achieve solutions;* Prepare impact analyses, process diagrams and functional documentation necessary for the design and delivery of solutions;* Collaborate with developers, QA specialists, architectural consultants and business partners to ensure a common understanding of needs and solutions;* Participate in the analysis, design, planning and implementation of Guidewire solutions;* Define test cases and support functional validation and user acceptance activities;* Follow up on incidents, evolution requests and functional issues in collaboration with the parties concerned;* Contribute to the resolution of production issues and user support when required;* Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes, practices and delivery methods.**The profile we are looking for is as follows:*** Bachelor's degree in administration, computer science, information systems or an appropriate discipline, or a combination of relevant education and experience;* Have a minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience in business analysis or functional analysis, including five (5) years as a systems business analyst and with the Guidewire ClaimCenter platform;* Have experience in the field of property and casualty insurance as well as advanced knowledge of business processes;* Master the collection, analysis and documentation of business and functional requirements;* Know how to write user stories, functional specifications, business rules and impact analyses;* Experience in delivering projects in Agile mode as well as in the preparation and execution of functional and user acceptance tests;* Hold an ACE Guidewire certification;* Advanced knowledge of application integration concepts as well as REST, SOAP, XML and JSON technologies;* Proficiency in collaboration, modeling and management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio and the Microsoft Office suite;* Know the underwriting, billing or damage insurance claims processes;* This position requires fluency in French and English for daily tasks, understanding documentation, and professional communication with customers, suppliers, and colleagues across Canada.
