Job summary

The Park Hotel London in Ontario, Canada is seeking a Guest Service Representative to represent the hotel at every stage of a guest's stay. You will determine reservation status, manage payments, and work closely with housekeeping and maintenance to keep room status up to date.

Responsibilities include registering guests, pre-registration, blocking rooms, using Opera, processing charges, and coordinating with departments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong spoken and written English, and comprehension.
• Available for various shifts including weekends.
• Experience with Opera is a plus.
• Night audit experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Registers guests and assigns rooms, accommodating special requests whenever possible.
• Assists in pre-registration and blocking of rooms for reservations/guest arrival.
• Processes guest charges and payments to guest, master, and city ledger accounts.
• Coordinates room status updates with housekeeping and maintenance.
• Posts and files all charges to guest accounts and handles safe deposit boxes.
