Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School diploma/GED equivalent required.
• Customer service background preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Punctuality and reliability are a must.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• A positive, upbeat attitude and a passion for fitness and health.
• Exceptional customer service skills; able to interact positively with members and co-workers.
• Strong listener with the ability to empathize and problem solve.
• Diplomacy in all interactions while using appropriate behaviour and language.

Responsibilities

• Greet members, prospective members and guests with exceptional service.
• Handle front desk tasks including answering phones and assisting callers.
• Check members into the system and sign up new members.
• Take prospective members on tours.
• Assist Club Manager with cash drawer tasks as needed.
• Update member accounts and respond to questions promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and order of the club.
• Complete daily tasks within the first hour of shift.
• Assist with priority cleaning and periodic checks.
