Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older required.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Customer service background preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Punctuality and reliability are a must.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Positive, upbeat attitude and a passion for fitness and health.
• Exceptional customer service skills; able to interact positively and professionally with members and coworkers.
• Strong listening skills with empathy and problem solving.
• Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions and use appropriate behavior and language.

Responsibilities

• Greet members, prospective members and guests with exceptional service.
• Handle all front desk activities: answer phones, check members into the system, take tours, sign up new members and calculate rates.
• Assist the Club Manager by counting the drawer when needed.
• Update member accounts and respond to questions or concerns promptly.
• Maintain club cleanliness and organization; complete daily tasks within the first hour of shift.
• Assist with special cleaning projects and walk-throughs as required.
• Other duties based on club needs.
