Job summary

Concorde Entertainment Group in Calgary, AB is seeking a Manager to oversee front of house operations in a bustling venue. You will schedule staff, manage inventory, coordinate sales, guest services, budgeting, and employee training to uphold the company image through exceptional guest experiences and high service standards.

The role requires strong English communication, leadership, and experience in budgeting and cash handling.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in a comparable hospitality leadership role.
• Experience handling events is an asset.
• Strong knowledge of guest services and food & beverage.
• Excellent English communication and relationship-building.
• Budget analysis and general accounting skills.
• Experience with cash handling and POS systems.
• Leadership ability to train and develop a team under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of professionalism and promptly address guest complaints.
• Coordinate front and back of house communication.
• Follow HR policies, procedures, and training programs.
• Develop prospects for opportunities and understand guest needs.
• Forecast sales and help staff meet goals.
• Manage promo budget and report variances to GM.
• Handle cash receipts per restaurant policies.
• Train team members to anticipate guest needs and deliver courteous service.
• Delegate tasks and manage staff workloads.
• Coach employees to improve learning and performance.
• Identify and improve business methods and guest service.
• Possibly perform physical tasks as needed.
• Overtime as required and assist workload of others.
• Execute other tasks as required.
