Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is hiring a Service Leader in Burnaby to ensure safe, high-quality food and a positive customer experience. This role leads a restaurant crew, maintains a clean line and properly functioning equipment, and supports staff training and daily operations.

Responsibilities include supervising breaks and shifts, resolving customer issues, and assisting with crew performance reviews. A high school diploma and restaurant experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience preferred.
• Ability to understand Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Knowledge of cash handling policies.
• Food safety knowledge and health department matters.
• Ability to read, write, and understand the primary language of the work location.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a positive customer experience by ensuring safe, quality food is prepared and served.
• Keep the line clean, organized, and properly equipped; assist during slower periods.
• Monitor food safety: handwashing, gloves, time/temperature, shelf lives, and daily checklists.
• Resolve customer incidents and maintain positive experiences.
• Oversee crew breaks, shifts, and line scheduling; train front-of-house staff.
• Assist with crew performance reviews and with developing future leaders.
• Perform office duties: banking, cash handling policies, and paperwork.
• Ensure office equipment works and supplies are stocked.
