Job summary

OLIVER & BONACINI is seeking Hosts to greet and seat guests, manage reservations, and coordinate guest flow with a professional, guest-focused approach.

You will contribute to a warm atmosphere, support smooth dining operations, and help deliver memorable experiences in a bustling hospitality environment. Must be eligible to work in Canada and hold Smart Serve certification. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• Previous host or guest-facing hospitality experience is an asset.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Calm under pressure, with a proactive and team-oriented mindset.
• OpenTable experience preferred.
• Valid Smart Serve Certification Required.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests in a warm, professional, and timely manner.
• Manage reservation and walk-in traffic using OpenTable.
• Monitor table rotation and coordinate with Front Of House and Back Of House teams to optimize guest flow.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the host stand and entrance area.
• Answer guest inquiries and assist with special requests, wait times, or accommodations.
• Support the overall guest experience with a friendly and attentive approach.
• Assist with bussing tables and support the team by running food and beverages as needed.
• Other duties as assigned or required.
