Job summary

Oliver & Bonacini Hospitality in Canada is seeking an Event Server to deliver exceptional hospitality in a fast-paced setting. Under Front of House supervision, you will learn our food and beverage offerings, answer guest questions, and provide attentive service to create memorable experiences.

The role requires a minimum of 2 years serving and bartending experience, Smart Serve certification, and the ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years serving and bartending experience in a similar environment.
• Smart Serve Certification required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent organizational, multitasking and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer guest questions about beverages, wine, and restaurant services.
• Take and prepare beverage orders according to Oliver & Bonacini standards.
• Assist with food running, ensuring plates reach guests promptly.
• Present beverages clearly at the service bar pickup area.
• Monitor cleanliness and organization of your section and bar.
• Pre-portion condiments and ensure fridges and bar areas are stocked.
• Monitor food and beverage quality and presentation standards.
• Communicate beverage descriptions, specials, and relevant information to guests and team members.
• Setup and breakdown the bar and related equipment.
• Check and maintain beer keg and liquor levels; assist with ordering.
