Job summary

Oliver & Bonacini Hospitality is seeking an Event Supervisor to assist in managing and setting up Toronto-area event spaces, and to support event execution. You will lead servers and bartenders, ensure top service, and maintain space cleanliness while delivering food and beverages to guests.

The role trains leadership in event management, requires Smart Serve, and offers opportunities to grow within Canada’s hospitality landscape. Ideal for a proactive team player with strong multitasking skills.

Qualifications

• Valid Smart Serve certification required.
• Proven experience in event service or hospitality.
• Minimum 1 year supervisor experience in events or hospitality.
• Organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
• A passion for guest service and creating memorable moments.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Ability to remain composed under pressure and adapt to fast-paced environments.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• This is a full time position.
• Ability to life 30lbs.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Communicates the vision to all team members and leads by example.
• Support the management team in overall event management.
• Leading a team of servers and bartenders during an event, responding to concerns as required.
• Builds and maintains relationships with guests, team members and senior management.
• Shows leadership in creating a culture focused on experience and enjoyment.
• Assist in preparation, setup and maintenance of event spaces.
• Possess a strong knowledge of event menu items.
• Deliver food and beverage to guests as directed by management.
• Monitor food quality and presentation standards.
