Job summary

Cineplex is seeking Restaurants Hosts to welcome guests, seat them, and manage reservations across Cineplex locations in Toronto, Ontario. You will play a key role in creating a warm first impression and coordinating with service and kitchen teams to ensure smooth dining experiences.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, recording reservations, and guiding guests to tables, while maintaining menu familiarity and addressing guest questions. A student-rate wage applies for certain positions.

Qualifications

• You have customer service experience (preferably).
• You pay close attention to detail.
• You possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• You have the provincially applicable sell, sale, and handling of alcohol certificate.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and recording guest reservations and assigning tables.
• Greeting guests at the entrance of the dining room, restaurant, or lounge and escorting them to tables or other seating areas.
• Staying familiar with the composition of all menu items.
• Speaking with guests to ensure their satisfaction with food and service and addressing any complaints.
• Accepting guest payments for food, beverages, and games as needed.
• Cleaning designated areas as per downtime procedures, morning/evening routines, and hygiene requirements.
