Stone Creek Resorts Inc. is seeking a Host/Porter to warmly welcome guests and provide essential support for events and daily operations.

The role combines front-of-house hospitality with practical item transport and room setup to ensure a seamless guest experience from arrival to seating and beyond. Responsibilities include greeting guests, guiding seating, managing reservations, and coordinating with staff.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a customer-facing role (e.g., hospitality, retail, or events).
• Physical strength and stamina to assist with carrying and moving heavy items.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed.
• Professional and approachable attitude.
• Eligible to work in Canada full-time.

Responsibilities

• Greeting and Welcoming Guests: Greet guests warmly on arrival and create a positive first impression.
• Seating and Escorting Guests: Guide guests to seating areas promptly and politely.
• Managing Reservations and Waitlists: Take reservations, respond to inquiries, and manage waitlists.
• Answering Guest Inquiries: Provide accurate information regarding venue, services, and events.
• Coordinating with Staff: Collaborate with waitstaff, kitchen, and events staff for smooth seating.
• Handling Customer Complaints: Address minor issues or escalate to management as needed.
• Maintaining Cleanliness: Keep the lobby/reception area neat and welcoming.
• Transporting Items (Porter): Move supplies, furniture, and equipment for events.
• Room Setup: Assist with room/event space setup.
• Maintaining Guest Comfort: Provide directions and support for guest needs.
