Job summary

Pursuit in Banff, Canada, is hiring for a guest service role within our hospitality group. You will greet and seat guests, making them comfortable and informed about wait times and events, while maintaining service standards and delivering food and drinks to tables.

The position emphasizes delivering a first-class impression, managing seating to sustain service levels, and ensuring a clean, organized dining environment, with a strong focus on guest satisfaction and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per day.
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. on a regular basis and up to 50 lbs. frequently.
• Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests and seat them with a high level of professionalism
• Ensure that the guests are made comfortable, informed of wait times and special events
• Control seating to ensure service levels are maintained at the highest level
• Provide an excellent first impression of the restaurant
• Provide professional food and beverage service to all customers
• Maintain a clean and organized environment
• Deliver food & drinks to tables
