Job summary

Naturally Pacific Resort in Campbell River, BC, is seeking a Carve Host to warmly greet guests, check them in, and provide accurate wait time information. You will welcome guests, announce servers, escort to dining areas, and help with seating to ensure a seamless experience.

Responsibilities include managing reservations, monitoring wait times, answering queries, and maintaining OH&S-compliant reception areas. Prior hospitality experience is a plus in a fast-paced resort setting.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of restaurant etiquette.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to monitor the entire dining and bar areas.
• Availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods.
• Previous experience as a Host is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Warmly welcome and seat guests upon arrival.
• Provide menus and announce server's name.
• Escort guests to assigned dining or bar areas and assist with extra attention needs.
• Manage reservations, wait times, and waiting lists accurately.
• Maintain a clean reception area and ensure adherence to OH&S standards.
• Monitor table distribution and coordinate seating options with servers.
• Answer incoming calls and address guest queries.
• Thank guests upon departure and invite them to return.
• Additional tasks and duties as assigned.
