Job summary

InnVest Hotels in Banff seeks a Guest Services Concierge to greet guests, assist with luggage, cross-sell hotel services and provide local Banff knowledge. You will maintain the lobby area and deliver exceptional service to ensure memorable experiences for guests.

The role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced hotel environment across multiple properties in the Banff area.

Qualifications

• Experience in Guest Services, with a strong knowledge of Banff National Park and area.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to enhance both presentation and service standards.
• Excellent communication, guest service and up-selling skills.
• Team player and a self-starter, yet able to work independently.
• Ability to work effectively in an innovative, fast-paced, and multi-tasked environment.
• Responsible and conscientious.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival and welcome them to the property.
• Deliver luggage to guest rooms and offer activities and services.
• Be familiar with the room types and services for cross-selling.
• Be knowledgeable of guest rooms, phones, hotel services and restaurant to answer questions.
• Provide concierge services with knowledge of Banff local sites and history.
• Maintain lobby/front desk to ensure prompt service.
• Monitor driveway entrance to greet and manage traffic flow.
• Deliver in-room dining services when necessary.
• Assist maintenance/housekeeping with entrance area snow and debris.
• Report irregularities or issues and ensure follow-up.
