Job summary

SpringHill Suites Vaughan in Ontario is seeking a Front Desk/Guest Services team member to welcome guests, register them, and handle payments with a focus on exceptional service.

Responsibilities include upselling rooms, handling group check-ins, and providing local information. A high school diploma and 1 year of front desk experience are required; fluent English is essential, with benefits and growth opportunities offered.

• Fluent English required; additional languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Check-in/check-out guests in a timely and professional manner; process all payments according to established procedures to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Welcomes guests in a friendly, prompt, and professional manner.
• Register guests, issue room keys, provide information on hotel services and room location; assist with group check-in/out and VIP arrivals.
• Upsell rooms where possible to maximize hotel revenue.
• Process cash and credit card transactions per procedures; complete cash reports and deposits.
• Promote hotel services, facilities, and outlets; provide guests with directions and local information.
• May book guest reservations and handle cancellations and updates.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure quality service.
