The Role at High Level:

As the Marketing Events Lead at Wagepoint, you’ll play a pivotal role in planning and executing events that drive engagement and build our brand. From webinars and trade shows to intimate customer dinners and our annual Wagefest festival, you’ll take the lead in creating memorable experiences for our audiences. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on managing logistics, building relationships, and crafting events that leave a lasting impact.

What You'll Be Expected To Own:

Demand Generation & Marketing Execution

  • Paid Media Execution: Plan and manage digital advertising campaigns (Google, LinkedIn, Meta).
  • Email Marketing: Create and execute email campaigns to engage prospects and customers including but not limited to events.
  • Copywriting & Content: Develop compelling event promotion materials, landing pages, and follow-up messaging.
  • Partnership Collaboration: Work closely with industry partners, sponsors, and affiliates.
  • Event Planning: Work with the Growth team to develop the concept and strategy for webinars, trade shows, and customer dinners.
  • Event Execution: Lead the execution of webinars, trade shows, customer dinners, ensuring every detail is covered from concept to delivery.
  • Wagefest Ownership: Be a key driver of our annual two-day Wagefest festival, collaborating across teams to create a standout event experience.
  • Vendor Management: Source and manage vendors, venues, and suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Project Management: Develop and manage event timelines, budgets, and checklists to ensure smooth execution and alignment with company goals.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, and product teams to align event strategies with broader business objectives.
  • Customer Engagement: Plan and execute customer-facing events, focusing on fostering strong relationships and delivering value.
  • Lead Capture and Funnel Management: Be responsible for ensuring the successful capture and conversion of leads generated at events. Take charge in ensure leads are processed, routed and and followed up on by the sales team post show
  • Post-Event Analysis: Collect feedback, analyze performance, and provide recommendations for future event improvements.

What You Bring To The Table:

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in event planning and management, preferably in a B2B environment. Experience with festivals or large-scale events is a plus.
  • Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple events simultaneously while meeting deadlines and budgets.
  • Creativity: A knack for creating engaging and memorable event experiences.
  • Relationship Building: Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with vendors, stakeholders, and attendees.
  • Detail-Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel for events and work flexible hours when needed.
  • Data Management: Proven ability and understanding of Hubspot. Understand the backend mechanics of processing event leads in addition to reporting and analytics.
