Who we’re looking for:

We’re looking for that demand gen marketer who loves research, working on B2B marketing, and exercising their creativity in writing. Ideally, you’ve worked in marketing communications and have no hesitation about digging into marketing research for the industry, competition and latest trends. From there, you can compile the data into persuasive stories and convincing recommendations. On other occassions, you have creative moments to help with branding efforts to write content in different voices for branding, websites, emails and different mediums, while delivering results. We're never short on work around here! You also pride yourself on being organized, to get things done, and maybe even the type who plans their vacations with the help of AI and spreadsheets.

This role is open only to candidates who live in Alberta, Canada, working from home.

What you’ll be working on.

  • Research & Recommendations: Competitor or industry or tools - your skills to search and dig into databases will help you conduct analysis across multiple industries to find the best outcomes for our clients.
  • Campaign Building: Helping us plan and execute B2B demand generation campaigns that span email, social, search, and outbound tools like Apollo or HubSpot. You might be loading contact lists, drafting emails, or tweaking subject lines to improve open rates.
  • Offer Creation: Creating lead gen content like landing pages, gated PDFs, or event invites, and collaborating with designers and strategists to make sure everything feels cohesive and on-brand.
  • Writing: the written word is your jam. From taglines to documentation, you'll help put the words to paper (rather, doc) to tell a story or inform clients of the best path forward. Short copy or long copy, you'll be doing a variety of writing.
  • Branding: Helping our branding team with crafting key messages, slogans and tag lines to bring out the best in our clients.
  • Presentation: Working with our team members from Strategists to Developers to communicate with our valued clients.
  • Project Management: Keeping your programs on track, and chasing down people for approvals and sign-off.

What you bring to the table.

  • Experience: 2 years of experience in marketing communications or digital marketing, working in a B2B environment.
  • Communication: strong ability to work in different tools like slack, email and video calls
  • Hustle: ability to get the job done well and setup our clients to win
  • Project Management: organizational skills to juggle and manage clients and priorities as they change. Experience with Teamwork/Asana/Trello/Basecamp an asset.
  • Interpersonal skills: team player who can work independently, get things done, and work with anyone from clients to suppliers to consultants
  • CRM understanding: whether Salesforce, Marketo, Hubspot and everything in between would be considered an asset.
  • Demand Gen Mindset: You understand how to build and support full-funnel marketing programs that attract, nurture, and convert leads, especially in a B2B context.
  • Campaign Experience: Familiarity with running or supporting demand gen campaigns using email, paid ads (LinkedIn, Google), and content offers like webinars, whitepapers, or case studies.
  • Analytics Awareness: You know what metrics matter in demand generation, whether it’s CTR, CPL, MQL, or pipeline contribution, and you’re curious about how to improve them.
  • Audience Targeting: You get that not all B2B audiences are the same, and you’re comfortable segmenting messaging based on buyer personas, industries, or funnel stage.
