Location: Toronto, ON - Hybrid Office Set Up (In office for team collaboration on Thursdays)

Compensation: $70K per annum (pro-rated)

We're Looking For

Elevate is seeking a data-driven Growth Marketer to join our marketing team and drive measurable results across our various programs and events. This newly established in-house role will be responsible for building and optimizing full-funnel marketing campaigns that increase ticket sales for our annual events, program participation, and overall engagement with Elevate's offerings. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in demand generation with a B2C focus, excels at running Google Ads campaigns, and has deep experience in conversion rate optimization. You'll leverage your analytical mindset to continuously test, learn, and improve our marketing performance while maintaining our database integrity and ensuring proper attribution throughout the customer journey. You’ll be a key contributor that rapidly drives ticket revenue in the next few months, alongside our team.

Main Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end marketing funnel optimization from awareness through purchase
  • Implement rigorous testing methodologies for landing pages to improve conversion rates
  • Develop cross-selling strategies across Elevate's diverse event portfolio
  • Leverage ROI frameworks for marketing investments
  • Work with content marketer and web development agency to implement tracking and optimize user flows
  • Data Infrastructure & Analytics
  • Function as Elevate's analytics center of excellence, establishing benchmarks and KPIs
  • Own attribution models that accurately track marketing's impact on revenue
  • Design reporting frameworks and dashboards for real-time visibility into performance
  • Develop predictive models and bottom-up funnel projections to forecast outcomes
  • Prepare marketing performance data for team meetings and sponsor partners
  • CRM & Marketing Automation
  • Own and maintain database hygiene in HubSpot, ensuring data quality and integrity
  • Create and manage segmentation strategies aligned with attendee journeys
  • Build and manage marketing automation workflows to nurture leads through the funnel
  • Design and implement lead scoring models to prioritize high-value prospects
  • Train team members on HubSpot best practices and develop standard operating procedures
  • Paid Media & Conversion Optimization
  • Execute paid media strategies across channels with a focus on maximizing Google Ad grants ($10K/month allowance)
  • Create, test, and optimize ad creative in collaboration with Design and Content teams
  • Manage advertising budgets and report on actuals spent, across channels to maximize ROI (Meta, StackAdapt, Google Ads, LinkedIn)
  • Implement A/B testing frameworks to continuously improve performance

Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in growth marketing or demand generation roles (B2C focus preferred)
  • Proven track record in managing paid social media campaigns with demonstrable ROI
  • Experience in conversion rate optimization for e-commerce or ticket sales
  • Strong proficiency with HubSpot CRM or similar marketing platforms
  • Expert in database management, including list imports, segmentation, and data hygiene
  • Advanced analytical skills with ability to extract actionable insights from marketing data
  • Experience with attribution modeling and A/B testing methodologies
  • Knowledge of SEO principles and marketing funnel optimization
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Business, or related field

Interview Process

While this is not all-encompassing for every role at Elevate, we try to follow a process similar to this and all candidates will be notified at every stage who they'll be meeting with.

Step 1: A phone call with one of our team members. In this call, we will cover the basics of the role and our organization, and discuss a high-level overview of your past experiences, goals, and interest in this role.

Step 2: A video call or an in-person interview with the hiring manager and a team member or supervisor. In this call, we will be digging deeper into your experience relevant to the role and also provide an opportunity for you to ask more questions and learn about our team. Some roles may require additional components involving portfolio walkthroughs, technical reviews, and opportunities for candidates to share more around their creative process. We will always let candidates know ahead of time if this is something you can expect for the role you're applying for.

Step 3: An in-person meet-up in our downtown Toronto Office with the role's Hiring Manager and/or Supervisor, our CEO and a team member. This is an opportunity to introduce you to the space, talk more about how you'd like to add to our current organizational culture, embody our values, and provide another opportunity for connection. We will also check references at this stage.

Step 4: Offer.

** We also aim to complete our recruitment process in around 4 weeks, but it is role and job-level dependent.
