Job summary

Equilibrium is seeking an Intermediate Groundwater Modeller / Hydrogeologist to join our growing Hydrogeology team in Canada. You will develop and apply conceptual and numerical groundwater models, analyse field data, and provide practical recommendations for mining and related projects.

Qualifications

4–6+ years of relevant professional experience in hydrogeology and groundwater modelling.
Experience applying hydrogeological principles to complex groundwater problems.
Ability to develop and apply conceptual and numerical groundwater models.
Experience with 3D modelling platforms such as FEFLOW, MODFLOW, HydroGeoSphere.
Strong written and verbal communication to convey findings to clients.

Responsibilities

Deliver hydrogeological investigations, assessments and groundwater modelling projects.
Develop conceptual site models and apply hydrogeological principles to projects.
Analyse and visualise geological and hydrogeological data and interpret results.
Support field investigations and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Mentor junior team members and contribute to proposals and business growth.
Build relationships with clients and regulators and contribute to best practices.
