Job summary

Compass Group Canada is seeking a Grill Cook to support short order cooking, kitchen operations, and dishwashing duties. The role emphasizes food safety, cleanliness, and consistent service from 11am to 3pm, Monday through Friday.

You will assist with hot and cold items, maintain proper temperatures, and ensure quality standards while engaging with customers and team members to deliver efficient service.

Qualifications

• Experience in short order cooking is required.
• Food safety knowledge including HACCP preferred.
• Able to work 11am–3pm, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assist with hot and cold items including short order items and grab-and-go products.
• Perform prep tasks: measuring, portioning, chopping, assembling ingredients.
• Ensure food is cooked to proper temperatures and meets quality standards.
• Maintain portion control and minimize food waste.
• Replenish food items and supplies during service as required.
• Follow HACCP, health and safety procedures and keep logs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations.
• Wash, sanitize, and store dishes and utensils; manage waste.
• Take orders and serve prepared meals; interact with customers.
• Represent Compass Group in a courteous, efficient manner.
• Complete required training within timelines.
