Job summary

COMPASS GROUP CANADA is seeking a Grill Cook, Deliver Driver in Calgary. The role involves assembling and delivering supplies, loading vehicles, unloading at sites, and ensuring food safety and quality across high-volume operations.

You will prepare and cook food as directed, organize mise en place, and maintain sanitation standards while collaborating with various departments. A valid driver's license, beverage service where required, and food handler certification are essential.

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Must possess Responsible Beverage Service Certificate where required.
• You must have a valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent.
• Must have the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong communication skills.
• Physical ability to carry out duties of the position.
• Proven cooking experience, including experience as a restaurant cook or prep cook.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and deliver all supplies to the scheduled locations.
• Prior to beginning each day’s route, ensure that truck/vehicle is loaded with products.
• Unload requested products at delivery site.
• Return items such as unused food and beverages, serving equipment and utensils.
• Follow sanitation and safety guidelines when handling food and equipment.
• Keep company vehicle clean and organized; perform pre & post trip inspections.
• Prepare, pre-cook and/or cook food products as directed.
• Prepare mise en place for high volume production.
• Clean kitchen equipment after use per health policies.
• Label, date, store and rotate food and beverage products.
• Communicate effectively with all appropriate operational departments.
• Report needed maintenance or accidents to the supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned or directed.
