Job summary

SiteOne Landscape Supply in Canada hires a Business Development Manager to grow new accounts and expand margins in under-penetrated markets. You will prospect and manage a growing book of business while leveraging SiteOne resources and solution selling.

You will collaborate with Sales Support and store teams to ensure orders, monitor fulfillment, and enhance the customer experience. SiteOne offers competitive pay and benefits with a salary range of $50,000–$75,000 per year.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of new customer sales experience.
• 1 to 3 years of green industry knowledge of landscape, irrigation, or nursery products preferred.
• Proven prospecting, negotiation, conflict resolution, and customer service skills.
• Ability to leverage CRM tools to organize accounts and opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Prospect new accounts and expand margin dollars in under-penetrated accounts.
• Manage a book of business with accounts currently doing little or no business.
• Coordinate with Sales Support Representatives, store personnel, and Key Account Manager for orders and fulfillment.
• Resolve customer issues and report progress against opportunities.
• Utilize CRM to track pipeline and performance.
