Job summary

Downtown Eastside Women's Centre is seeking a Grants & Impact Specialist to develop, write, and manage grant proposals, contracts, and progress reports to sustain and expand funding. You will ensure compliance with funding agreements and help measure outcomes to demonstrate impact to funders.

The role collaborates with internal teams, applies a feminist lens, and supports strategies to reinforce DEWC's mission and services for women and children in need.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 3 years fund development experience including grant & report writing.
• Knowledge of non-profit financial and account operations including budget creation.
• Able to promote and articulate the organization's mission, values, and programs.
• Excellent administrative and organizational skills, including record keeping, scheduling, and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Develop, write, and manage grant proposals, contracts, and reports to sustain and expand DEWC's funding base.
• Ensure compliance with government and foundation funding agreements.
• Measure, communicate, and demonstrate impact to funders and the broader community.
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather data, outcomes, and stories illustrating DEWC's work.
• Work from a feminist perspective and within an anti-oppression framework.
