Job summary

NQX is seeking a customer-focused bilingual agent to handle calls about meter upgrades and to schedule technician visits from a home-based setup in Québec. You will engage with English and French speakers, deliver empathetic service, and maintain a high level of professionalism.

Qualifications

• Bilingual communication in French and English required.

• Experience in a call center is a strong asset.

In this role, you will:

• Answer calls from customers regarding their upgrade to a communicating meter.
• Call customers for follow-ups and to schedule technician appointments.
• Manage complains and claims regarding service delivery professionally thanks to your empathy and commitment to others.

Qualifications:

• Bilingual – you will need to interact with French and English-speaking people in Québec and will need to answer calls in English between 10% to 15% of the time.
• Be available to work 5 days anywhere from 20 to 40 hours per week: Monday to Sunday between 8:00 and 8:30 pm, Saturday between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm.
• Have a high-speed internet connection of at least 25 MBPS and a secure, quiet space, within the province of Québec.
• At least three years of customer service experience.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to work in a computerized environment and to multi-task.
• Call center experience, a strong asset.
• High school diploma or equivalent completed.
