Role Summary

We are seeking an Intermediate Trainer to support government-wide training and outreach initiatives for the Government of Alberta's 1GX Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution. The successful candidate will lead learning needs and audience analysis, develop role-based learning strategies, design and deliver instructor‑led, virtual, e‑learning, multimedia, digital adoption, and performance‑support solutions, and evaluate training effectiveness. This role requires strong instructional design, facilitation, stakeholder engagement, learning evaluation, and project coordination skills. Experience with ERP systems and digital adoption platforms is highly desirable.

Project Overview

The 1GX Centre Of Excellence (CoE) Supports The Government Of Alberta's Enterprise ERP Solution, 1GX, Which Enables Key Business Functions Including

Reporting to the Manager, 1GX Business Excellence – Communications, OCM, and Training, the Trainer will support government-wide 1GX training for project and operational initiatives.

The role will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to validate requirements, manage competing feedback, coordinate deliverables and risks, and maintain training quality, accessibility, consistency, and currency through established governance processes.

Key Responsibilities
