Job summary

Livingston is a market leader offering customs brokerage, international trade consulting, and freight forwarding services with over 3,000 employees across North America, Europe and Asia. The Trade Management Executive drives new business development within an assigned territory, builds relationships, and conducts ongoing business reviews with clients.

You will negotiate pricing, draft RFPs, and work cross-functionally to close deals while aiming to meet quarterly and annual targets.

Qualifications

• 5 years of related experience
• Associates Degree or post-secondary education required
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic territory plans within a predefined geographic territory.
• Generate account shares by identifying new opportunities to introduce Livingston's services and solutions for new clients.
• Implement new business and ensure proper communication among all stakeholders.
• Establish and maintain business relationships with new clients.
• Conduct thorough needs assessments of prospects and identify opportunities for Livingston's solutions.
• Draft RFPs and ensure clients receive them by the specified date.
• Negotiate pricing and contract terms with new clients and coordinate with cross-functional departments.
• Develop contact and strategic account plans with cross-functional teams.
• Liaise with sales and other departments to communicate new clients’ issues.
• Achieve or exceed sales targets as directed by Director, Business Development.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
• Adhere to established policies and procedures.
