Job summary

Northern College of Applied Arts and Technology is seeking an International Office Coordinator to develop, track, and liaise with internal and external partners to support agent partnership development and ongoing agent support.

The role involves managing agent applications, contracts, records, marketing materials, and coordination with multiple college departments to support international students and RISIA-related services.

Qualifications

  • Two (2) year Diploma in Business, Legal or International, International Immigration or related/relevant field of study.
  • Regulated International Student Immigration Advisor (RISIA) Certification
  • Minimum 3 years of practical experience in data management, or Management Information System (MIS); and
  • Experience in the Canadian immigration system, especially international student related Canadian immigration policies and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Follow up on and guide new recruitment agent partnership inquiries to support partnership applications.
  • Assess new agent applications by responding to inquiries, screening, verifying, and validating documents; check references; background reviews; provide recommendations on contracts.
  • Prepare and update formal agent contracts and coordinate submission to senior college leadership for review and signature.
  • Maintain accurate agent records and monitor agent performance via reports from agent platforms (OCAS IAS portal).
  • Plan, develop, review and update international marketing materials with overseas recruitment team and internal stakeholders.
