Job summary

Manulife is seeking a strategic Project Manager to lead global HR technology initiatives from discovery through adoption and value realization. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, apply predictive, Agile, and hybrid methods, and balance outcomes with risk, privacy, and compliance on an enterprise scale.

This high-visibility role drives transformation, partner engagement, and change management across markets, shaping the future of HR services and technology platforms globally.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive project management experience delivering large-scale, global initiatives.
• Experience in HR technology, employee experience, or financial services preferred.
• PMI-PMP strongly preferred; Agile or scaled delivery credentials (PMI-ACP, CSM, PS, SAFe) are assets.
• Change management credential such as Prosci or CCMP is an asset.
• Ability to balance priorities across business and technology stakeholders in a matrix environment.
• Experience with AI-enabled or data-intensive initiatives is an asset.
• Strong command of predictive, Agile, and hybrid delivery with integrated planning and benefits realization.
• Knowledge of enterprise architecture, APIs, data flows, testing, release management, and service management.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, Microsoft 365.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, global initiatives from discovery through adoption and value realization.
• Partner with business and product leaders to translate outcomes into executable plans and milestones.
• Select predictive, Agile, or hybrid delivery methods based on risk and readiness.
• Own budgets, resources, vendors, risks, issues, and benefits with clear recommendations.
• Build alignment across HR, technology, and external partners to ensure delivery.
• Embed privacy, security, regulatory, and data requirements into plans and gates.
• Drive change readiness and stakeholder engagement, learning, and operating model effects.
• Provide reporting on outcomes, milestones, and adoption with concise insights.
• Establish sustainable transition to Day 2 operations and continuous improvement.
• Coach teams to strengthen delivery discipline and inclusive collaboration.
