Job summary

Manulife Financial Corporation is hiring an IT Project Manager within the Global Technology & Cyber Security PMO to lead end-to-end IT projects aligned with multi-year objectives.

Reporting to the Director of Strategic Delivery, you will manage projects in a fast-paced, matrixed environment, balancing scope, budget and stakeholder expectations while applying waterfall with Agile practices where appropriate.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of IT project management experience.
• Proven experience delivering IT, network infrastructure, and security projects.
• Strong risk, issue management and delivery transparency.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to lead in a complex, matrixed environment.
• PMP, CSM, or Agile certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of technical and business IT projects.
• Manage projects using waterfall with Agile where appropriate.
• Ensure delivery on time, within scope and budget.
• Define and manage complex projects with interdependencies.
• Coordinate with technology teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Communicate with sponsors and senior management.
• Identify opportunities to improve delivery methods.
