Job summary

FMi Logistics Incorporated in Canada seeks an Account Executive for Global Freight Forwarding. You will engage with new and existing customers, focusing on Air and Ocean Freight Forwarding, understand client needs, tailor solutions, and drive revenue through strategic selling and account management.

Responsibilities include prospecting, onboarding new clients with operations, and achieving monthly quotas while collaborating with operations for seamless shipments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Logistics, or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 3–5 years of successful sales in Air and Ocean Freight Forwarding.
• CRM and prospecting tools experience required.
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable vehicle for client visits.
• Remote work experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop outbound sales and business development strategies for Air and Ocean markets.
• Create and prioritize strategic target accounts and generate new leads.
• Contact decision-makers, screen opportunities, and maintain a sales tracker.
• Research accounts, add leads, send emails, and perform cold/warm calling.
• Conduct high-level conversations with Senior Executives on prospective accounts.
• Manage proposal responses and RFP content with internal/external inputs.
• Onboard new clients with operations team for handoff and fulfillment.
• Meet monthly quotas of qualified opportunities and close ratios.
