Job summary

Acculogic Inc. in Markham, Ontario, is seeking a Technical and Support Engineer to act as the technical interface for flying probe, in-circuit and boundary scan test equipment.

The role supports pre-sales and post-sales activities and involves extensive travel (>50%). This exempt position offers a competitive salary and benefits package and opportunities to contribute to a global organization within the Electronic Test division of inTEST Corporation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.
• 1–4 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics.
• Self-driven, quick learner with professional bearing under pressure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (>50%).

Responsibilities

• Pre-sales: customer demonstrations, evaluations and benchmarks, including development of test applications.
• Post-sales: phone support, equipment installation, preventative maintenance, fault identification and repair, installation of upgrades, training.
• Developing test projects for circuit boards testing.
• Participating in product and test procedure development.
• Collaborate with software, engineering, sales to implement fixes and enhancements.
• Writing technical documentation, application notes and training materials.
