Flynn Group is seeking a Glazing Service Superintendent to lead field operations in our Winnipeg area. This full-time role offers great benefits and opportunities to advance within a growing service division.

You will manage revisions, coordinate with the Service Manager, and ensure project QAQC on site. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in construction with glazing experience, reads blueprints, and can lead crews while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in a Construction environment; Service Glazing experience is preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, architectural plans and shop drawings.

Responsabilités

• Ensure that all revisions/change orders are properly documented and accounted for
• Daily review with Service Manager on project and billing progress
• Completion of various reports, including Service Request/Field Report and work order
• Dispatch calls to field technicians, providing all necessary job information prior to their arrival on site
• Build relationships and maintain close contact with customers during project activity
• Regular site visits focused on QAQC and field development
• Compliance to regional Health and Safety requirements and Flynn policies
• Monitor quality, safety, and training requirements through regular visits to project sites
• Order and manage Service Inventory, material best practices, and safety equipment distribution
• Identification, training and coaching future Foremen

A Day in the Life:

What We Are Seeking

• 5+ years experience in a Construction environment; Service Glazing experience is preferred
• Knowledge of COMMERCIAL GLAZING Projects of varying size and scope, including curtainwall, exterior façade systems, metal cladding, interior glazing, skylights and handrails, etc.
• Ability to read blueprints, architectural plans and shop drawings
• Process and results driven
• Ability to lead crews, coach and mentor team
