Job summary

Fidelity Canada is seeking a GIC Administrator to ensure accurate and timely processing of Guaranteed Investment Certificate transactions. You will support settlements, servicing, and reconciliation while delivering exceptional service to clients, advisors, issuers, and internal partners.

The role requires foundational knowledge of GICs, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication. The position offers a hybrid work model with a flexible schedule and base salary plus target bonus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a brokerage or financial services environment.
• Direct experience supporting GIC products is considered an asset.
• Completion of post-secondary education or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Review and validate daily GIC order activity.
• Process GIC settlements and wire payments through CDS.
• Enter and maintain GIC purchase orders.
• Reconcile commissions and ensure timely distribution to clients and advisors.
• Process corrections, cancellations, entitlements, and maturity payments.
• Support GIC issuer onboarding and ongoing servicing activities.
• Resolve inquiries and provide exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and operational efficiency.
