Position Summary

The Program Manager will play a strategic role within the Program Management department, reporting to the Director of Program Management. You will collaborate with various departments to ensure program success, manage contracts, and act as the main contact for clients. Your goal is to meet internal deadlines, deliver on time, ensure product quality, monitor costs, and maintain margins. Strong informal leadership skills are essential for influencing and supporting teams.

Main Responsibilities

1. Serve as the daily contact for internal clients;
2. Conduct periodic program reviews with clients and senior management;
3. Lead contract reviews and kick-off meetings to set milestones and objectives;
4. Manage the order book and interact with MRP systems and internal teams;
5. Measure program performance and present KPIs;
6. Develop and execute recovery plans when necessary;
7. Identify and communicate improvement opportunities to management;
8. Manage client requirements and resolve complaints while enforcing contracts;
9. Prepare bids and explore new business opportunities;
10. Support the finance team with customer accounts;
11. Develop and improve processes, tools, and resources;
12. Ensure long-term profitability and sustainability of programs;
13. Build and maintain strong client relationships.

Qualifications

1. University degree in business administration, engineering, or equivalent;
2. Several years of program management experience in manufacturing, preferably aerospace;
3. Practical experience in technical and operational problem-solving;
4. Bilingual in French and English;
5. Knowledge of AS9100 standards and BaaN ERP system is an asset;
6. Experience with ERP/MRP systems;
7. Strong organizational and prioritization skills;
8. Highly autonomous and an excellent communicator;
9. Attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Excel;
10. Functional knowledge of French language.
