The role emphasizes collaboration, cost analysis, and safety compliance, with limited travel to field sites as required. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in Oil & Gas and a GIS degree.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Legally authorized to work in Canada.
• Understanding of earthworks construction practices and field execution.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on footprint planning and civil earthworks execution.
• Optimize project footprints using GIS and data-driven tools to identify cost-effective options.
• Conduct economic analyses to evaluate project decisions and improve efficiency.
• Facilitate stakeholder alignment on footprints, scheduling, and execution.
• Develop GIS-based applications and automation to improve planning and data quality.
• Lead continuous improvement through project reviews and lessons learned.
• Ensure compliance with Cenovus safety practices and regulations.
