Paladin Security is seeking flexible General Security Operatives to cover region Moncton/Dieppe across multiple sites including Champlain Mall and healthcare facilities.

Casual position with potential to convert to full-time; overtime applies after 44 hours. Pay rate is $20–$21.60 per hour. High School Diploma required; immunization records and UOF/MOAB certifications preferred or training provided with commitment.

Qualifications

• Immunization records for Mumps, Measles, Rubella, Varicella and two step TB skin test.
• English (oral and written) and/or French (oral and written) depending on site.
• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or related field preferred.
• Must have certifications in Use of Force (UOF) and/or MOAB.
• UOF/MOAB training available; costs covered with 6-month commitment.

Responsabilités

• Patrol grounds and premises to ensure safety across multiple sites.
• Operate surveillance cameras and alarm systems; report suspicious activity.
• Monitor and control entry points; permit access only to authorized persons.
• Respond quickly to emergencies and assist staff during crises and evacuations.
• Greet and assist visitors and staff; provide directions and enforce policies.
• De-escalate conflicts and handle interactions calmly and professionally.
• Document daily activities; complete incident and security reports.
• Collaborate with staff and local law enforcement for coordinated security.

General Security Operative - Region Moncton/Dieppe

Paladin Security Group (NB) Ltd. is currently seeking individuals who are flexible and willing to work across multiple environments, including the Champlain Mall, Service New Brunswick, and healthcare facilities within both Vitalité and Horizon Health Networks.

Position: Casual Security Guard (possibility to get Full-Time)

Site: Multi-Sites

Overtime: Overtime (excess of 44 hours)

Hours: As needed

Payrate: $ 20 - 21.60/hour

Key responsibilities:

• Patrol Grounds: Conduct regular rounds of premises, including parking areas, hallways, entrances, and exits, to ensure the safety and security of the site.
• Monitor Surveillance Systems: Operate security cameras and alarm systems, ensuring any suspicious activity is reported immediately to the appropriate authorities.
• Access Control : Monitor and control entry points, ensuring that only authorized individuals are allowed access to restricted areas.
• Respond to Emergencies: Act quickly in emergency situations, such as medical emergencies, fire alarms, or security threats. Assist staff as needed during crises and evacuations.
• Provide Customer Service: Greet and assist visitors, and staff. Provide directions and ensure that guests adhere to policies and procedures.
• Conflict Resolution: De-escalate tense situations, resolve conflicts, and ensure that all interactions are handled calmly and professionally.
• Report Writing: Document daily activities, incidents, or accidents accurately. Complete reports on incidents, breaches, and security concerns.
• Collaboration with Staff : Work closely with staff and local law enforcement to provide a coordinated security effort and ensure the safety of all parties involved.

Prerequisites:

• Immunization records for Mumps, Measles, Rubella, Varicella and two step TB skin test
• English (oral and written) and / or French (oral and written) ** Depending of the site
• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field preferred.
• Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UOF) and / or Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB)
• Applicants lacking these certifications can opt into Paladin's UoF/MOAB training program prior to their onboarding training to ensure they meet the requirements of the position
• Please be aware: The UoF/MOAB training is not paid as it is a pre-requisite; however, Paladin will cover all of the costs of the training with a 6-month commitment to the position/availability
