The General Manager of Operations oversees all aspects of production, quality, safety, and logistics within the food manufacturing plant. This role ensures operational efficiency, compliance with regulatory standards, and alignment with company objectives to deliver high-quality products. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with strong problem-solving skills and a proven track record in food manufacturing or related industries.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead day-to-day operations, including production, quality assurance, supply chain, and maintenance.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize productivity and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations
• Develop, monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
• Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet customer demands and business goals.
• Oversee staff hiring, training, and performance evaluations to build a high-performing team.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and operational expenses effectively.

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Food Science, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of operational leadership experience in food manufacturing or a similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and industry standards.
• Proven ability to manage large teams and complex operations.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.

Salary based on experience - $140-175,000+
