Aramark is hiring a General Maintenance Worker for a brand-new remote lodge near Chapleau, Ontario. This role supports opening operations and ongoing maintenance across facilities, grounds, and utilities. You will work on 14/14 rotations with long shifts and on-site meals and accommodations provided.

Ideal candidates have remote camp experience, valid WHMIS and food-safety certificates, and the ability to travel for extended rotations. Transportation from Timmins, ON is provided.

Qualifikationen

• Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record.
• WHMIS and 4 Step Certificate are required; Advanced Food Safe is mandatory.
• Remote Camp experience is mandatory and highly valued.

General Maintenance Worker - New Lodge Opening Near Chapleau, ON

Exciting opportunity! ARAMARK Remote Workplace Services is hiring General Maintenance Workerfor a brand-new remote lodge opening near Chapleau, Ontario at the end of November. Join our team and play a key role in launching this exciting new operation.

About the Role

The General Maintenace Worker is responsibilities for performing a variety of work including the maintenance and repair of remote camp repairs, buildings and grounds in assigned area(s). Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.

Requirements

All candidates selected for hire must successfully complete:

Job Responsibilities

• Accountable and responsible for maintaining a culture focused on having Safety as a value
• Shall attend all safety meetings and participate in Client and/or Aramark Emergency Response
  Procedures
• General maintenance of furnace repair and maintenance, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, kitchen equipment repair and maintenance as well as sewage systems
• Meet daily with the supervisor to discuss daily duties and instructions
• Daily Maintenance through out the lodge
• Additional duties may be assigned

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License and clean Drivers Abstract to be provided
• Valid WHMIS Certification is mandatory, First Aid Certification is an asset
• Remote Camp experience is Mandatory
• Must possess excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently supervised and unsupervised
• Strong with prioritization and time management
• Ability and willingness to travel/work long rotations away from home
