The role involves maintenance and repair of buildings and grounds across assigned areas on a 14 days on/14 days off rotation, with 10-12 hour shifts and on-site meals and accommodations provided.

Candidates must have a valid driver\'s license, a clean driving record, WHMIS and 4 Step Certification, and Advanced Food Safe Certification is a plus.

Exciting opportunity! Aramark Remote Workplace Services is hiring General Maintenance Worker for a brand-new remote lodge opening near Chapleau, Ontario at the end of November. Join our team and play a key role in launching this exciting new operation.

About The Role

The General Maintenance Worker is responsible for performing a variety of work including the maintenance and repair of remote camp repairs, buildings and grounds in assigned area(s). Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.

Job Responsibilities

• Ability to work effectively and efficiently supervised and unsupervised
• Strong with prioritization and time management
• Ability and willingness to travel/work long rotations away from home
