Job summary

Premier Tech in St-Isidore, Ontario seeks a hands-on General Maintenance Technician to keep production equipment and facilities running at peak performance.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, real-time troubleshooting, and collaboration with the Production team to inventory parts while ensuring a safe working environment across the site.

Qualifications

• 2 years of mechanical experience in a manufacturing environment repairing equipment such as conveyors, pumps, compressors, fans, blowers, electrical motors and gearbox.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and/or PLC troubleshooting.
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical schematics is an asset.

• Ensure that the equipment and production lines run in an efficient manner.
• Communicate with the Production team and coordinate inventory of parts and supplies.
• Evaluate and analyze opportunities to improve equipment reliability and performance.
