Job summary

Premier Tech Growers and Consumers in St-Isidore, Ontario, is seeking a hands-on General Maintenance Technician to keep production equipment and facilities in top condition through preventative maintenance and real-time troubleshooting.

You will collaborate with a safety-minded team to improve equipment reliability, manage parts inventory, and uphold a safe on-site environment while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• 2 years of mechanical experience in a manufacturing environment repairing equipment such as conveyors, pumps, compressors, fans, blowers, electrical motors and gearbox.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills such as mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and/or PLC troubleshooting.
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical schematics - an asset.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Language skills: bilinguals in French and English

Responsibilities

• Provide preventative maintenance to the production equipment and building.
• Ensure that the equipment and production lines run in an efficient manner.
• Communicate with the Production team and coordinate inventory of parts and supplies.
• Evaluate and analyze opportunities to improve equipment reliability and performance.
• Maintain a safe work environment within the site and on each job.
