Job summary

American Iron & Metal (AIM) in Timmins, Ontario, is seeking a Non Ferrous Receiver with experience to join our on-site team. Under the supervision of the Site Manager, you will handle receiving, sorting, weighing and maintaining the facility while delivering excellent on-site service.

This full-time permanent role offers CAD 25.75 per hour with overtime after 44 hours, vacation, benefits and RRSP matching. You will work in a safety-focused environment with opportunities for career development

Qualifications

• Proficient with basic computer tasks and software.
• Experience operating a crane is an asset.
• Ability to work indoors/outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Receive, sort and organize different types of ferrous metals.
• Cover the scale and weigh in trucks using the RECY system.
• Perform general maintenance of the premises and ensure equipment is in good condition.
• Provide excellent on-site customer service to clients.
• Operate the forklift as required.
• Maintain a safety-oriented mindset.

Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Non Ferrous Receiver with experience for our Timmins location.Under the supervision of the Site Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for the general maintenance of the premises.

• Receive, sort and organize different types of ferrous metals
• Cover the scale and weigh in trucks when required using the RECY system to properly weigh and track the material
• Do general maintenance of the premises
• Ensure the equipment in good condition
• Provide excellent customer service to clients on site
• Operate the Fork liftas required
• Work with a safety oriented mindset

Qualifications
