Job summary

On Side Restoration Services Ltd. is seeking a motivated Labourer to support restoration projects across residential and commercial properties. You’ll assist with demolition, remediation, contents cleaning, and rebuild tasks, while following safety protocols and using hand and power tools.

The role offers 24/7 on-call rotation, health benefits, and opportunities for advancement. Flexibility to work locally and out of town is required, with a strong team focus and commitment to quality work.

Qualifications

• Experience and desire to do physical work.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
• Willingness to follow all safety requirements including PPE.
• Interest in cross training across Remediation, Contents Cleaning, Emergency, Rebuild.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean criminal record.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Tackle physical work with energy and enthusiasm

• Assist with demolition and emergency mitigation after floods, fires, and other disasters
• Support multiple teams through cross-training in remediation, contents cleaning, emergency response, and rebuild
• Help with finishing work like carpentry, trim, and fine details
• Help install doors, moldings, baseboards, and hardware
• Assist with drywall repairs, mudding, sanding, and painting

Position Summary

Labourers at On Side are important team members who help rebuild and restore damaged personal and commercial property, anywhere and anytime disaster strikes. Labourers are the MVP of the restoration teams. Willing to learn, love being taught and full of ambition, the Labourer knows they’re going places in life, and this is the first stop on the way to success!

Compensation

• Salary Range: $22-$26/hour

What You’ll Do

• Tackle physical work with energy and enthusiasm

• Understanding and experience using hand and power tools
• Willingness to follow all company safety requirements including wearing full PPE as required: Full face masks require clean shave (if applicable)
• Interest in cross training in Remediation, Contents Cleaning, Emergency, Rebuild and helping all teams
• Tech-savvy (comfortable using apps and software)
• Curious nature, always want to know how things happen
• Strong people, teamwork and communication skills
• Attention to detail, ability to follow directions
• A safety mindset
• Valid driver’s licence and a clean criminal record (we do check)
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal
• Availability to work locally and out of town as required
