Job summary

Combined Metal Industries Inc. (CMI) is hiring a General Labour for our Operations team in North York/Concord. You will work outdoors, assist with shipping and receiving recycled metals, and support a fast-paced yard environment.

Responsibilities include serving customers as they enter the yard, sorting materials, advising on metal type/grade, and helping with housekeeping. Prior industrial or outdoors work is a plus; forklift experience is a bonus.

Pay Rate: from $19 and up based upon experience and qualifications

CMI sources and processes recycled ferrous and non-ferrous metals across North America and ensure they do not end up in a landfill or go to waste. Our recycling stream ensures that all the ferrous and non-ferrous metals that enter our yards will create something new again!

Here’s where you come in…

CMI is looking for a General Labour to join our Operations team. Workingoutdoors, in a team environment, you will be involved with the shipping and receiving of recycled metal.

• Previous experience in an industrial facility is an asset


• Previous customer service experience is an asset


• Previous experience working outdoors is a bonus


• Posses the desire and ability to learn


• Pervious forklift experience is an asset
