Job summary

Combined Metal Industries Inc. in Vaughan, ON is seeking a Counterbalance Forklift Operator to join our shipping and receiving team. This permanent, full-time role offers day and night shifts with competitive pay and opportunities to grow in a fast-paced metal recycling facility.

You will load/unload trucks, move stock, inspect material quality, and support general labour tasks in a safety‑driven environment. Prior counterbalance experience (4+ years) is required; clamp experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in an industrial facility is an asset.
• Desire and ability to learn.

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Shifts: Continental Day 7:00am to 7:00pm; Continental Night 7:00pm to 7:00am; Afternoon 3:00pm to 11:30pm & Night 11:00pm to 7:30am

Pay Rate: from $20 and up based upon experience and qualification

The salary range shown above reflects the expected compensation for this position. The final salary offered will be determined based on a holistic assessment of the candidate’s experience, education, training, and alignment with the role’s requirements.

Job Summary

Working in a team environment, you will be involved with the shipping, receiving and processing of recycled material.

Key Responsibilities

• Use a Counterbalance forklift to load and unload trucks
• Use a Counterbalance forklift to move and stock material
• Experience with Clamp experience is an asset
• Inspect Material for Quality
• Upgrade material, to provide a higher profit value
• Be an extra helping hand with all general labour requirements
• Work in a dynamic and fast paced environment

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an industrial facility is an asset
• 4+ Years of Counterbalance experience
• Posses the desire and ability to learn
