Job summary

Compass Group Canada is seeking a Multi Skilled Worker to support daily operations in our healthcare environment, including housekeeping, food service, and dishwashing.

You will assist with meal service, setup and cleanup, delivering trays, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness while adhering to health and safety guidelines. Strong English communication and teamwork are essential assets for this role.

Qualifications

• Valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent.
• Experience in housekeeping and food services is an asset.
• Healthcare or long-term care experience preferred.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong English communication, verbal and written, and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform housekeeping duties in residents' rooms and common areas.
• Assist with food preparation, set up and cleanup of chairs & tables, serving meals, delivering trays to residents, dishwashing and maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen.
• Follow health & safety guidelines; report injuries and hazards to the supervisor.
• Other reasonable requests from management as needed.

How you will make an impact:

As a Multi Skilled Worker, you will:

• Perform housekeeping duties such as maintaining the cleanliness of residents’ rooms and common areas.
• Assist with food preparation, set up and cleanup of chairs & tables, serving meals, delivering trays to residents, dishwashing and maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen.
• Perform duties according to health & safety guidelines, report all injuries and hazards to the supervisor immediately and other reasonable requests from management

About you:

• You must have a valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent
• Previous housekeeping and food services experience is an asset
• Previous experience in the healthcare environment or long-term care setting is preferred
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Good command of English language, both verbal and written and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
