Job summary

Group Compass Ltee in Canada is seeking a Multi Skilled Worker to support daily operations with a range of tasks including cleaning, food preparation, serving meals and dishwashing.

You will maintain resident rooms and common areas, assist with food service, and ensure health and safety guidelines are followed. English communication and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent.
• Previous housekeeping and food services experience is an asset.
• Previous experience in the healthcare environment or long-term care setting is preferred.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good command of English language, both verbal and written and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform housekeeping duties such as maintaining the cleanliness of residents’ rooms and common areas.
• Assist with food preparation, set up and cleanup of chairs & tables, serving meals, delivering trays to residents, dishwashing and maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen.
• Perform duties according to health and safety guidelines, report all injuries and hazards to the supervisor immediately and other reasonable requests from management
